Friday June 17, 2011 - Campbell and Danylko at the Museum

Today Campbell, Miles and I went to the museum of Civilization with Laura, Danylko and Kaliyana.. AND what a ball we all had.. The children's section of that museum is AMAZING.. We didn't get thru it all but what an awesome place and the kids were so good and had SO MUCH FUN!!

It is devided up into different sections and one was just as cool and fun as the next.. The first section we visited was the Theatre.. there were costumes to dress up in at a back stage area, a stage area to perform on with some seating in front.. well they of course had a ball.. the dressing up was fun but then they got out on the stage and just went wild, dancing, going behind the curtain and coming out.. It was a ball to watch..

There was a market with all sorts of stalls with food and shopping bags and what not.. the kids loved it.. See them here with their shopping bags and weighing something.. :)

The market also had wooden shoes which of course Campbell loved..

Fish at the market were fun too.. There was a section that had different areas of the world but we didn't have much time there.. but Campbell did get to sit on a Camel..

This museum was amazing.. hard to pick just a few pictures.. there are many more and I can not say enough good things about it.. next time we go we will have to try and get there earlier so that we have more time there..

Gave up the sprinkler for the golf set.. best $7 I have ever spent, he loves it and has gotten more use out of it than anything..
Campbell on his new trike.. He is really good at riding all ready, tongue out for effort.. steering is something that will take practise.. check out the video post next..

June 3-5th, 2011 - Karen and Tegan Visit

Karen and Tegan came for a visit and to meet Miles.. We all went to the museum of Nature on Saturday morning and had a great time. It was great to see the cousins playing together.. Campbell really enjoyed the visit and asked about Tegan many times after they left.

He is such a good boy getting his haircut.. he seems to look older every time he has a haircut and this one was a much better job than the last one..

Sunday April 24, 2011 - Easter Sunday Video

And of course sometimes you should keep on taping.. in the end of this video, as you can see, Campbell has a mini egg ("smartie") in his hand and his is walking to the right. He actually went over to Miles wanting to give him one. Of course I missed it.. It was so cute and great of him to want to share with Miles.. oh well next time I will keep the tape rolling.

Sunday April 24, 2011 - Easter Sunday

Easter this year was a lot of fun. Campbell really got into the hunting for the eggs and had a great time seeing what was in each one.. First the Easter bunny left some treats for him in Mommy and Daddy's room.

Then of course the Easter Bunny hid plastic eggs in the front room with more treats in them.. Campbell had a blast finding them and putting them in his basket, but when he started realizing that there were treats in the eggs, he had to open them to see what was inside before putting them into the basket.

Of course there was some chocolate before breakfast, as there should be on Easter Sunday..
Miles just hung out while the egg hunt went on around him.. :)

Easter Bunny of course knew that Campbell loves animal and dinosaur figures, so here are all the figures taht he got in eggs or before the hunt even started..
