So we packed up the truck to head out on our big driving vacation.. and in our defence there were a nice few things that we took that we technically brought in case we needed them.. I guess what they say is true.. you pack depending on the space you have.. ;)

Oma's surprise Birthday party was that afternoon/night.. here is a picture of the kids in the hot tub (heat level low, of course).. Campbell and Tegan had so much fun swimming that I thought they would never get out.. They were literally in there for hours.. Miles wanted to be in for longer but I think we would have broken our backs making sure he didn't drown..
Miles had so much fun with Chevy, Hans and Jan's dog. Here is a picture of him feeding him a piece of carrot.. (Jan was giving them to him so it was ok) I didn't catch a good picture of his face but he was so proud to be doing this.. :)
Campbell giving Oma the birthday card he made for her.. He was very proud of it and he loved that Oma liked it.
A great time had by all.. A great way to start the vacation..
