Thursday December 27th, 2012 - Getting Ready for Santa..

Both boys were super excited about Santa coming tonight.. We hung up our stockings...

It was hard to get a good photo of the two of them with the stockings, with them moving around so much..

Put out Cookies for Santa, carrots for the reindeer and orange juice for Santa.. Campbell thought that Santa would like orange juice..

Saturday December 22nd to Thursday December 27th, 2012 - Newfoundland Christmas..

 Campbell met his buddy and hit it off right away.. Dexter, Nannie's new dog.

Friday December 21st, 2012 - Campbell's ride in the Shovel

J was trying to get the driveway shovelled while we made the snowman and played to wear off energy.. Campbell decided that the shovel would be a fun ride and Daddy made it so.. Love this video and so did Campbell.. He and Miles still love watching it.. Campbell laughs everytime he sees it.. ;)

Friday December 21st, 2012 - SNOW DAY and Travel day

It snowed so much and the temperature was perfect.. Finally Campbell got to make a snowman the normal way.. just make a ball and roll it.. it was so quick and easy.. he did the head himself and loved it.. He was so proud..

Miles even enjoyed being out.. he doesn't like the snow actually coming down on him but hopefully he will get used to it.. 

 The kids loved playing with their new trucks in the snow on the front deck..

The kids watched the video from Santa for them.. they loved it and I think Campbell watched the video over and over.. I would guess he watched it like 10 times.

December 16th and 17th, 2012 - Playing with New Christmas Toys from Bracebridge

Went to the park for some playtime in Bracebridge Saturday morning.. Definitely fun..

Sunday December 9th, 2012 - Decorating the Christmas Tree and Making Christmas Cookies

Today we hit Christmas head on.. Decorated the Christmas Tree and made Christmas Cookies.. Had a Blast though as a family getting prepped for Christmas.. Campbell said to me as he was going to bed that Christmas is fun mommy.. So what an almost four year old should be thinking.. Love it.. Great day for us all.. 

Friday December 7th, 2012 - Picture with Santa

Went to Bayshore Mall to get a picture with Santa.. Campbell said that this year he would be ok having his picture taken with Santa but he wasn't going to sit on his knee. So I suggested that he stand next to Santa.. That he was good with.. and he didn't waiver when we got there.. Miles, on the other hand, we didn't know what he would be like at all and asking him doesn't help.. So we figured we would go and see what happened. Miles was quite interested in Santa and went right over to check him out closer up. Stood right in front of him to which Santa waved at him. Miles just kept looking at him and Santa put out his hands to see if Miles would let him pick him up.. Miles was cool with that.. Santa put him on his knee, Miles cuddled in there and looked like he was so comfortable there that he could have had a nap there.. Very cute and glad to have a picture this year and they both enjoyed it. Fun day and they were so good waiting, we had to wait just over an hour. 

Saturday December 1, 2012 - Manotick's Santa Claus Parade

December 1st was the Santa Claus parade in Manotick.. The kids had a blast and we met up with our friends there.. So much fun and the kids loved it.. they cleaned up to in candy canes..

Monday November 26, 2012 - Campbell's vow to Mommy

Campbell said this on his own first and I thought it would be a good call on my part to get this on video as proof. Ruairi, that he is talking about here, is Ita's teenage son. I love this video and will keep it forever. 

Sunday November 25, 2012 - Writing Letters to Santa

Today we decided to write our letters to Santa.. Campbell really got into it and wanted to write it all himself. Dad helped with the spelling and then wrote one part for him to take a break.. but he did a GREAT job I think.

Saturday November 24, 2012 - PCL Kids Christmas Party

This was the first PCL Kids Christmas party since we had Campbell and what an amazing set up and so much fun for the kids. They had inside hot chocolate, colouring sheets, a balloon guy, a movie playing and then a full lunch and brunch was served.. Outside they had a fire pit and marshmallows to roast and a horse drawn ride around the grounds. All ending with a free gift for the kids. Campbell got a kids tool belt with PCL on it and Miles got a moose and blanket with PCL on it.
