Campbell said this on his own first and I thought it would be a good call on my part to get this on video as proof. Ruairi, that he is talking about here, is Ita's teenage son. I love this video and will keep it forever. 

Sunday November 25, 2012 - Writing Letters to Santa

Today we decided to write our letters to Santa.. Campbell really got into it and wanted to write it all himself. Dad helped with the spelling and then wrote one part for him to take a break.. but he did a GREAT job I think.

Saturday November 24, 2012 - PCL Kids Christmas Party

This was the first PCL Kids Christmas party since we had Campbell and what an amazing set up and so much fun for the kids. They had inside hot chocolate, colouring sheets, a balloon guy, a movie playing and then a full lunch and brunch was served.. Outside they had a fire pit and marshmallows to roast and a horse drawn ride around the grounds. All ending with a free gift for the kids. Campbell got a kids tool belt with PCL on it and Miles got a moose and blanket with PCL on it.

October 31st, 2012 - Happy Halloween

Miles was Tigger this year and Campbell was a Tortoise. Campbell would correct me everytime I told anyone that he was going to be a turtle, because turtles live in the water and tortoises up on land. He wasn't going to swim around. 

We took the wagon with us. Here are the boys ready to head out trick or treating. :) They had so much fun.. Campbell could have kept going all night long. He had so much fun. Miles loved it too.. got the hang of it.. first few houses he as soon as someone put something in his bag he would reach in to take it back out. A lot of fun this year trick or treating.

Our neighbour had this massive cat outside their house and Campbell thought it was pretty cool when we were driving by in the truck but when we got up close to it he said to me in a nervous voice, "Mom it is making a noise".. I tried to explain that that was just the fan to keep it blown up and that it was just fake.. but he still had to stay to the other side of the path to get up to the front door to trick or treat.. Too cute.. it was crazy big..

October 5 - 14th, 2012 - Thanksgiving Visit to Newfoundland

We had a great Thanksgiving visit to Newfoundland here are just a few of the amazing pictures we got.. We did a fair amount of site seeing and got to get together with a lot of family and friends.. 

Campbell decided that he REALLY liked Sunny and had a lot of fun helping Aunt Nat give her treats.

September 13 and 14, 2012 - Visit from Some Great Friends

Newfoundland friends, now living in Calgary, came for a visit. What a great time.. Visiting with such good friends is always fun.. but even more so when they have a little girl that is the same age as Miles.. It was so neat and nice to see them all play together.

Went out for a walk.. we had GREAT weather for their visit too. 

Campbell really took to Elizabeth.. Too cute to see..

Saturday September 1, 2012 - Campout in the backyard

Campbell's First Campout in a tent with Daddy.. They spent the morning setting up their camp and Campbell had so much fun. J put together a camping pack for Campbell, with binoculars, compass, flashlight, etc. He was so proud of his pack he carried it everywhere with him. 

Here is the camp... They did a great job setting it up.
