Sunday October 19, 2014 - Pumpkin Hunt

So today we decided to head over to Millers farm to get our pumpkin for this year. It turned out to be a lot colder than we thought. We waited to go in the afternoon hoping that it would warm up but not much luck with that. Oh well still had fun and found a great pumpkin. 

Friday October 17, 2014 - Miles' School

So I have been looking for classes to do with Miles on Fridays for quite some time and the gymnastics class that I used to do with Campbell doesn't have that age group on Fridays anymore. I finally found something and even though it is a bit of a drive away I signed him up.. It is nice to have something structured for part of the day.. This class is called Sporty Kids and I figured he would love it. 2 hours and need to bring a snack and water..
Told Miles about and he was super excited to have his own class. When we pulled up the first day (which was the middle of September), he was super excited to see that it was in a brick building and screamed it looks just like Campbell's school. It doesn't really but he was excited.. so whatever..
Found out it was a drop off class.. so much for getting to do a class with him.. but he loved it so much and is so excited about having his own school to go to on Fridays (he tells everyone about it) that I couldn't take him out of it.. oh well.. we have the rest of the day together.. and it is only until the middle of December. Wednesday October 15, 2014 - Photo Day..

So today was photo day at Campbell's school. So the night before I got him to pick out what he wanted to wear so that we weren't too crazy in the morning trying to find something that he wanted to wear but might not even be clean.. He wanted to dress up in a shirt and tie and then of course his shadow Miles wanted to wear a tie to Ita's too.. They looked so cute I had to get some pictures of them before they left for their day.. They look so much older to me when they are all dressed up.. LOVE IT though..
And of course as a Mom, I love when they put their arms around each other for pictures.. yes I am a mush.. Always.. :)

Saturday October 11, 2014 - WILD KRATTS LIVE Show!!!

So a while back I happened to see that the Wild Kratts were coming to Ottawa and doing a live show for kids. Luckily there were still tickets left and we both thought that the boys would love it.. They love the tv show that they do and even have gotten into the older show that the Kratt brothers used to have on tv and totally love that too.
So the show was today and the kids were really excited but were not really sure what to expect.. This was the first live show that we have taken them to, other than the circus.. Well we got t-shirts and toys to start off and then found are seats.. when the lights went down and the show started, Miles climbed up on J's lap and put a hand on each cheek and didn't move or make a sound.. Here is the best pic I could get of it.. a bit blurry but still super cute.

 Campbell loved the show more that he could even say. He was yelling back the answers when they were trying to get the audience involved and he was so into it.. It was awesome.. J and I both thought that it was really well done and Campbell said to me at the intermission that "This is the best day of my whole entire life." Needless to say well worth the ticket price and we will be looking to see more of these sort of shows.. Such a fun time for everyone.

Friday October 10, 2014 - Daddy's Skateboard..

J took today off work to have an extra long weekend.. Campbell had a PA day and so we had an extra long weekend all together.. Campbell found J's skateboard in the basement and decided that he would like to try it out.. Here are some of the pics from it.. He actually did pretty good, with some help.. Daddy didn't do too badly showing a few tricks to Campbell too.. I think he was a little impressed with himself that he could still do them. :)

Sunday October 5, 2014 - Campbell riding his bike.. Video

Campbell after having a blast on his balance bike, using his thomas the train small bike and learning balance and riding a bike with no trouble.. last year in the Spring got on this hand me down bike that one of J's coworkers was kind enough to give to us and immediately figured it out.. It was bigger and can go a lot faster which is of course more fun.. Here he is on his new bike showing me how fast he can go..

If his defence he is still learning to turn around on it.. and is quite good.. but showing me how fast he can go, he took the turn too quick.. quite funny.. and he was not hurt or sad about it, at all.. ;)
