Thursday December 25, 2014 - Christmas Day!!!

Christmas Day was so much fun.. Miles really understood more and got excited about his presents.. We were all spoiled by family and Santa. Here are a few pics.. 

Here is Miles opening the car that Campbell picked out and got for him. 

 Here is Campbell super happy that Santa brought him the Leonardo da Vinci Catapult that he so wanted.. This was the first gift he opened.

Great time having the neighbours over for turkey dinner.. Nice to have Great neighbours, makes all the difference in the world. 

Another amazing Christmas Day!! Lots of fun and we were totally spoiled.. 

Wednesday December 24, 2014 - Christmas Eve 2014

Christmas Eve at our house this year was absolutely CRAZY!! The boys were so excited they ran around like total lunatics.. they were huggin each other spinning around saying "It's Christmas Eve" over and over.. I got a lot of really blurry pictures.. but they had so much fun.. me and J sat on the couch for almost 2 hours just watching the madness around us and just letting them go wild.. until it was closer to bedtime.. then we hung up the stockings, opened Christmas jimmies and put out cookies for Santa.. So much fun...

Miles was pretty impressed that there was a stocking with his name on it.. he traced the letters reading them out to us quite a few times. :) 

We thought that this was the end and they were finally worn out.. but no.. They were up and running around a few seconds later.. :)

Opening the one gift from Mom and Dad.. Christmas Jammies to wear tonight..

Checking out on the ipad where Santa was.. we also called the tracking elves and heard where exactly he was, when he was expected to be at our neighbourhood AND that gingerbread cookies were Santa's favourites.. The boys were super excited to talk to the elf.. I thought that they would keep talking to her all night. :)

Once we left their rooms there was not a sound out of them.. I think Miles might of come out once but that was it.. LOVE THIS TIME OF YEAR!! SO MUCH FUN!!

Sunday December 21, 2014 - Afternoon spent sliding on the front lawn..

Who thought it could be so much fun having a ditch on the front lawn.. yeah for that..

Saturday December 20 and Sunday December 21, 2014 - Ginger bread cookie making and decorating

Lots of fun had making and decorating the gingerbread cookies.
Here is the rolling and cutting out.. Which the boys are actually getting good at.. this dough was not the best.. a little too crumbly for them. Might try a different recipe next year..

Campbell bugged me for weeks to make gingerbread.. there was just too much on the go so I told him once school was done.. Notice that this was the first day of vacation.. :) But he LOVED it..

Thursday December 18, 2014 - Campbell's Senior Kindergarten (SK) Christmas Concert

In case you have a hard time finding him.. Campbell is in the front row with a red sweater on and navy blue pants.. He is standing next to Parker, his best buddy who has a red and white striped shirt on.
The first parrt it seems they are all a little distracted but once they stand up.. seems the song came to them more.. Cool dude moves on Campbell.. last year if you remember he was slightly shocked at the number of people. This year seems more comfortable..

Saturday December 13th, 2014 - Alight at Night at Upper Canada Village

First time ever being at Upper Canada Village but this will definitely be a tradition.. I think Campbell thanked me 3 times while we were there and twice after for taking him there. It was crazy and awesome to here him have gratitude.. and even said "thank you for thinking about taking me here, this is the best surprise ever." It was cool and we all enjoyed it. Here are a couple of pictures but they don't do it justice.

 J and Campbell on the ferris wheel.. It was really neat to see the whole place from high up with all the lights.. just very magical.

They had the best victorian Santa I have ever seen. Neither of the boys wanted to sit with him or get a picture but I got these few of them talking to him.. It IS important that you talk to him and tell him what you are wishing for.

 This is the house that Santa was in and every so often throughout the night they have a sound and light show.. it was pretty cute..

 They also had a life size toy train that was lite up and you could take a ride on.. We waited a nice while to get on it and then squat in and hoped to stay warm through it.. Here is the best selfie I could take of us all on the train.. the boys loved it.. Campbell said that it was his wish for a long time to have a ride on a train and then we went through a tunnel and that was another of his wishes.. It was super cute and they loved it.. Only about an hour drive from us which is nice. Will be thrilled to do this again next year.

Saturday Dec 6th and Sunday Dec 7th, 2014 - Christmas Parade and Decorating the Tree

The Manotick Santa Claus parade is a tradition in our house and we haven't missed one yet.. Campbell slept through his first one.. but since then has been able to be awake for them.. It is nice.. not to long and they give out a lot of treats for the kids.. They like it..

Decorating the Christmas tree can not happen without a bit of silly..
