Saturday July 16th, 2011 - Ribfest (OUT OF ORDER)

Sorry another out of order one.. but there was a lot of stuff on the 16th and these are pics that were taken by friends and they were just too good not to post.. She took a class and I can't get over the amazing shots she got.. Here are just some and trust me they were all awesome..

Saturday July 9th, 2011 - OUT OF ORDER POST

In my defence these are out of order because all these pics are taken with my cell phone.. gotta say it takes great pics as long as there is enough light..

First little road trip in our new vehicle, we went to Embrun (less than an hour away), stopped in at a chip stand and they had a cool little play place for Campbell out back.. it was a really nice surprise.. Our big boy is getting really good at playing on stuff by himself.. He impresses more and more everyday with the stuff he can do and/or figures out by himself.. amazing thing to watch and experience..

He went up this ladder imediately with no help at all from us and didn't fall.. ;)

Sunday July 17th, 2011 - Swim and BBQ

We went over to our neighbours, Laura, Yehvin, Danylo and Kaliyana, for a swim and a bbq today after nap.. Campbell just loves to swim and it was a hot one.. so it was nice for everyone.. Miles got to try out a bumbo seat for the first time and really liked it..

Miles even figured out how to sleep in the bumbo seat.. when he is tired even though sometimes he fusses a bit he will fall asleep where ever.. Campbell was like that too.. (he even fell asleep sitting up on my lap at the party before our wedding)

Saturday July 16th, 2011 - Prescott Beach

So today we took a little drive to Prescott (only about 45 min drive) to take a drive in the new truck.. Prescott has a little beach and we figured it might be fun.. we packed a picnic lunch and there was a play structure there too for Campbell to enjoy.. This was Campbell's first time wearing his new puddle jumper.. sort of a life jacket but it only has a float that straps around his chest and a floaty attached to it for each arm.. He loved it and jumped right in and started swimming away.. As you can see...

After we got back from Prescott, I got out the jumperoo for Miles.. I can't believe that he is big enough for it already, wow how time flies.. I will put a video of him having fun in it in the next post.. stay tuned........

Thursday July 14, 2011 - Julie and Daniel Visit from Vancouver

Today Julie and Daniel came for a visit, they were down visiting from Vancouver.. In case you don't remember they used to live across the street from us and they had Daniel on our actual due date for Campbell which was January 17th, 2009.. It was so amazing having them across the street during mat leave and even after going back to work.. So easy to see that they were out playing and just go out and join them, or play dates were easy to get to, etc.. But due to Chris' work they moved to Vancouver.. I am thrilled for them that the move is working out so well but we definitely miss having them here, across the street.. The boys played together well, as well as two 2.5 year olds do.. and it was neat to see them playing together now after them being gone for almost a whole year...
